Kaizen is the Japanese word for the belief of daily augmented improvement—the practice of each day gaining small progress that can sum up to long-term improved excellence and efficiency.
Pain & Pleasure Mapping:
We do certain things because it gives us pleasure and avoid certain as it reminds us Pain. So as to have inspiration, try mapping Pain & Pleasure against the activities you would want to stop doing & start doing respectively. E.g.: In case you want to start reading books daily and reduce your time on Social Media. Try mapping books reading against a pleasure such as success / fulfilment which will keep you wanting more and being on Social Media as something like failure, loss hence you will automatically reduce the usage.
Setting Accountability factor:
We achieve task only when we are accountable. In case the accountability falls outside our known circle then our efficiency always improves. So when you want to do & finish something, try making someone outside your comfort zone as the master and you being accountable to the task. This way, you will try not to fail in front of that person and always be on track.
